Scale transforms in different registers, always swings back to comfort when dissonant, revealing a need for relieving anxiety with comforting musical space in the form of the D diatonic space in the middle register and lyrically meandering, unconcerned mini-melodies. Embraces iteration with shapes moving up and down, similar to raga, shortening and lengthening, especially in left hand - 5 - 4- 3 - 2 - 1 in a pattern, or repetition of a gesture, such as a trill, occasionally an accent, repeated notes, stray fragments from elsewhere (8 minutes) peeking through like a ray of light coming through a window and leaving with the moving sun / cloud positioning. Emphasis on descending and ascending in relatively condensed register over the entire piece, as well as a homogeneity of mood - can be connected to landscape contour with the uniform palette of features, but gradually revealing crooks and characters, individual hills and valleys, rivers, following the view / meditating on it for a while - long distance.
